Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Menolyn mobile app for iOS and Android, published by AgemoWare ("we", "us"). By using Menolyn you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Menolyn is — and isn't

Menolyn is a personal symptom journal and wellness aid for perimenopause and menopause. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Any pattern, chart, summary or educational note in the app is general information to discuss with a qualified healthcare professional — never a substitute for professional care. If you have urgent or severe symptoms, contact a doctor or emergency services, not an app.

You are responsible for decisions you make about your health. We provide a tool for recording and reviewing your own observations; we do not practise medicine.

Your data

What you log stays on your device. We have no accounts and no servers holding your entries, which means we cannot access, recover, restore or delete your data for you. Keeping backups — through your device's normal backup, or by exporting a CSV from the app — is up to you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Menolyn Plus subscriptions

• Core logging is free. Menolyn Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks pattern insights, the doctor-report PDF and medication reminders.
• Plans and prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. A free trial, if offered, is stated on the purchase screen.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings. If you cancel during a free trial, any unused part of that trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies — we can't issue store refunds ourselves, but write to us and we'll help you where we can.

Acceptable use

Use Menolyn for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the app's source code, resell or redistribute the app, or use it in any unlawful way. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app; we keep all other rights, including in the name, logo, design and content.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app working well, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you're a consumer you keep all rights your local law gives you.

Age

Menolyn is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app or its content. Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard EULA also applies to the extent it doesn't conflict with these terms, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date above and note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Menolyn after a change means you accept the updated terms.
